Krunchd.com now offers a feature to allow you to recover old Krunchd URLs you set up a long time ago. However you lost it, it doesn’t matter. Once you punch in your email address, all your previous Krunchd sets will be sent to you via email, including the modify URLs. This means you can access old ones, and modify them as you wish.

Other Updates Include:

Better meta description implementation means your Krunchd URL sets serve as an even better tool for Search Engine Optimization. Each Krunchd.com URL has better value on Google, and subsequently, to the linked URLs.

The buttons have been updated for a cleaner look.

Email is no longer mandatory for new Krunchd URL set submissions. But remember, if you don’t enter an email, you forfeit your ability to modify the URL set later.

We implemented Google Image Ads. I know not everyone likes ads, but something’s gotta pay for the server.

Thank you for using Krunchd.com!

You already made a Krunchd URL with an amazing hash code that practically has your name on it (sometimes literally). And now you need more URLs listed, or you need to remove some – you can do that now. If you already have Krunchd URLs with us, you would have received an email with the URLs already.

Here’s how it works:

There’s two types of URLs for each Krunchd URL generated. One is the generic one which will look like this:

krunchd.com/yourname

However, there’s an additional URL that is now generated just for you (and your friends) which will look more like this:

krunchd.com/mod/yourname/dfy8saffdhsu78fhrerhgaefdsah7

This is a special URL containing security information that allows the holder of the URL to add or remove URLs from existing Krunchd URLs. To make sharing and collaboration easier, we did not put any password protection schemes on, so just be careful who you share this URL with.

This now allows Krunchd URLs to be used for collaboration. If you and your friends want to find relevant websites for that next big paper you need to write, make a Krunchd URL and start adding sites together. Multiple people can work on it at once. Find relevant websites with your sales team to make a list of sites. It’s a great way to share, brainstorm, gather, and help everybody out.

Krunchd URLs last forever, so you may as well get one with our name on it now so you can use it forever (assuming you live forever). In the very near future, we will add a function where you can edit existing Krunchd URLs, so you can change the contents of it later anyway. So. Go crazy, start getting Krunchd!

Krunchd URLs can be up to 12 digits long, and alphanumeric characters are allowed. I’ve already reserved for myself, krunchd.com/jeffkee. You should get yours too.

Krunchd.com launches, and here's a brief description of what it does, and how it helps you.

Krunchd.com launched a few days ago, and we’re very excited about it.

What is Krunchd.com? Well, We started this out as what we called “TinyURL on steroids”. It started out as a method to make sharing multiple website URLs easy and fast. You can enter a selection of URLs (up to 30), and then aggregate them all into one short URL like this: krunchd.com/jeffkee. Once any of your friends click on that link through your Facebook or Twitter updates, they will be taken to a page where they can see all of the URLs you registered in this Krunchd set.

So, go ahead. Krunch those URLs. Share, update, enjoy.
